Community is at the heart of what we do. Our operating costs are paid for by our past investments. The money we generously receive through donations enable the Somerville Civic League to continue our work and extend our reach. All donations are greatly appreciated! We presently support St John’s Laundry of Love & the Clothes Closet, Toys for Tots, Wreaths Across America, National Night Out, Girls on the Run, the DSA, Scholarships to Immaculata High School, Somerville High School & students attending the Military, the Turkey Trot, Angel Network, maintaining the Van Fleet Garden and Spring Cleanup, dinners for Senior Citizens, My Favorite Lady and Read Across America. We also support the National & State Federation of Women’s Clubs.
When the town and the residents of Somerville are in need, the Somerville Civic League member utilize their time, resources and talents to assist the police, fire and rescue squad.
Our members attend state meetings and sponsor young woman in attending Girls Career Institute and other programs.
